
Brownie Recipe:
1 cup water
2 cups unbleached flour
1/3 cup margarine or vegan buttery style stick
2/3 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup Dandies vegan marshmallows cut into small pieces
1/3 cup vegan chocolate chips
1/3 cup chopped nuts of choice
Preheat oven to 375.
Start by combining water and 1/3 cup flour in a small saucepan. Heat till mixture turns into paste. Remove from heat and cool.
Next melt margarine and and add cocoa. Mix untill smooth and set aside to cool.
When flour paste is cool mix with sugar, vanilla and salt. Add cocoa and margarine to sugar mixture.
Add remaining flour and baking powder. Mix completely. Batter should be thick.
Scoop batter into lightly greased 9×13″ pan. Batter will be thick, you will need to spread over bottom of pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with Dandies marshamllows, nuts of choice and chocolate chips. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes. You want marshmallows to begin to melt so they will be nice and gooey.
Cool completely before serving.
